Patrick Njapa
Founder and Musical Director
Patrick is a seasoned musician and the founder of the Calgary Intercultural Youth Choir, with over 25 years of experience. Gifted his first guitar at age seven, he is known for his smooth voice and expert guitar skills. Beyond music, Patrick works in Human Resources, helping individuals build meaningful careers. A loving husband and father of three, his spirituality and family are the foundation of his life. Through the choir, he creates a welcoming space for young people from diverse backgrounds to come together through music.
Alida Fopa
Program Manager
Alida is the Program Manager of the Calgary Intercultural Youth Choir, with over three years of experience in multidisciplinary design and project management. She brings creativity and precision to developing engaging, user-focused programs that align with the choir’s vision. Alida’s entrepreneurial spirit and strong client skills help foster a supportive and inclusive environment for young artists to thrive.
